Art in Motion
Daryl Conrad has literally transformed his M800 into a work of art. So much so the bike featured at the Modern Atlanta 08 “Design is Human” Launch Show at the Mason Murer Gallery in Buckhead last Friday. Positioned alongside giant statues of body parts and framed by enormous paintings of dancing horses, the Ducshop built Monster looked right at home.
Sleek and elegant, it caught the eye of world renowned, high-fashion Finish illustrator, Jarno Kettunen, who looked over it with great detail. Belgium Designer Stefan Kjartansson, a Monster owner himself, had his photographer shoot it and most of the male attendees, somehow, found their way to its side.
Lead technician Lorin Tinkle build this “masterpiece on wheels” and put so much time and effort into every detail that one might easily have confuse it as his own bike. Only the frame and the seat are stock and even the frame has been modified and painted.
