Fender eliminator buying guide
Match the motorcycle and the kit
Check the exact model, year and generation. A complete tail tidy may include lights and wiring, while a plate bracket or accessory cover may require other parts. Track block-off covers are different from a road plate mounting kit. Read the included-parts list before choosing.
Check plate format and clearance
Compare your plate dimensions and hole spacing with the bracket. European and US plate mounts can need different adapters. Check tire travel, exhaust clearance, luggage and passenger equipment, including at the chosen plate angle. Universal brackets may require additional mounting work.
Plan the lights and wiring
Confirm whether original indicators can be retained and whether a plate light, reflector support, adapters or connectors are included. LED indicator changes may require resistors or another compatible flash-rate solution. Low-profile brackets may have no indicator mounts.
Review installation and use
Read the fitting instructions before disassembly. Some installations require drilling or separate adapters. Use the specified fasteners and tightening instructions, secure the wiring, and check the applicable plate visibility, angle and lighting requirements for where the motorcycle will be used.
For related mounting parts, browse motorcycle specific fasteners and universal fasteners. Match fastener size, thread and application to the kit instructions.
