Collection: Motorcycle Specific Fasteners

Shop motorcycle-specific bolts, nuts, threaded plugs and mounting hardware for service and component replacement. Match each part to the listed motorcycle model, year and mounting location, then compare thread diameter, pitch, length, head style and included hardware.

Buying guide: choosing motorcycle-specific fasteners

Start with the exact motorcycle and mounting point

Check the model, model year, trim and original component. Hardware for body panels, brake calipers, steering stems, engine mounts and rearsets serves different purposes. An aftermarket cover or bracket may need its own hardware even when the motorcycle is listed.

Compare threads, length and seating surfaces

Match thread diameter, pitch and direction, usable length, shoulder dimensions and head clearance. Check whether the application needs a flange, washer, spacer or specific seating profile. Similar-looking fasteners are not necessarily interchangeable.

Check the material and kit contents

Confirm that the material is appropriate for the mounting specification. Read whether the listing includes one fastener, a pair or a complete kit, and whether nuts, caps or washers are supplied. Photos may show installed hardware, other finishes or components sold separately.

Follow the installation specification

Use the motorcycle or component manufacturer’s service instructions for torque, lubrication, thread locking, replacement and tightening sequence. Brake, steering and structural fasteners require the correct specification for that exact assembly. Contact Ducshop if the application or dimensions are uncertain.
