Collection: Shift Holder Supports

Browse motorcycle shift holder supports for an additional support point at the gearbox shift shaft. Compare mounting shapes, shaft dimensions and bearing or bushing arrangements. Check each listing for exact motorcycle fitment, supplied components, required original hardware and clearance with the installed linkage and surrounding covers.

Choosing a shift holder support
  • Match the shaft and mounting points: Confirm the motorcycle model, year, engine generation and manufacturer part reference. Compare shaft diameter, exposed shaft length and mounting locations; a similar bracket shape does not establish compatibility.
  • Check the assembly and clearance: Review the application-specific bearing or bushing design, included hardware and any original bolts that must be reused. Confirm clearance with the shift linkage, sprocket cover, foot controls and other installed accessories.
  • Plan installation and diagnosis: Follow the manufacturer's alignment, lubrication and tightening instructions. A shaft support serves a different purpose from a detent-arm kit or return spring. Have existing shifting faults assessed before assuming an external support will correct them.
