Ducshop offers the Akrapovic titanium engine-protection bar set for the BMW R1300 GS and R1300 GS Adventure.

Sandblasted 25 mm titanium tubing forms a lightweight engine-protection structure with partial chassis mounting to distribute impact loads. The listed component weight is 3.02 kg, approximately 40% below comparable stainless-steel versions. Replaceable 2.5 mm carbon-fiber elements, precision TIG welds and laser-cut 10 mm flanges complete the construction. The source specifies no restriction to lean angle and ABE type approval. Compatible with BMW Option 719. The bars can carry compatible auxiliary bags or lights, which are separate accessories. Installation by a qualified mechanic is recommended.
