01

Lift dirt gently

Use a clean, soft damp cloth. Let moisture soften insects before wiping; avoid rubbing grit across the finish. Use only cleaners permitted for the surface. Keep solvents, fuel, glass cleaner and abrasive products away. Do not polish a matte finish.

02

Treat the visor and lining separately

Remove the visor or comfort pads only as directed. Follow the visor and anti-fog insert care instructions, using soft clean materials. Wash removable pads only by an allowed method; wipe fixed padding gently. Do not scrub, compress or modify the impact-absorbing foam.

03

Dry, reassemble, then check

Allow cleaned parts to dry completely before reassembly. Keep the impact liner away from heat and solvents. Refit pads, visor and inserts using the model instructions, then check visor operation and helmet fit. Do not force catches or improvise repairs.

Before your next ride

  • Clean and fully dry
  • Correctly reassembled
  • Fit and function checked
