Damper, clamp or mounting kit?
A steering damper controls steering movement. A damper body clamp secures the damper, while a mounting kit connects it to the motorcycle. Check the supplied components: images may show an installed example or multiple finish options.
Match the complete installation
Confirm your model and year, damper stroke, body clamp type and attachment sizes. A fork-mounted bracket must match the fork diameter at its mounting point. Original and aftermarket handlebar clamps, risers and triple clamps can require different kits. Check clearance through the full steering range.
Check component dependencies
Read the listing for separately required dampers, body clamps and fasteners. Do not assume an installed motorcycle photo shows everything included in the purchase. Confirm the selected finish, particularly where a photo shows multiple colors.
