Gas Caps Buying Guide ▾
Choose the complete assembly or the component you need. A flange, center plug, replacement lever, screw kit, and complete cap serve different purposes. Some flanges require a separately purchased center plug; some replacement caps reuse original plastic or locking components. Read the individual listing before combining parts.
Confirm fitment by model and year. Check the tank opening, mounting pattern, cap reference, sealing surfaces, and any original parts that must be retained. Similar-looking caps may use different mounting arrangements. Aftermarket tanks or fuel cells may require a different cap or base.
Compare keyed and quick-release systems. A keyed cap, keyless plug, and dedicated-tool opening system have different operating requirements. Confirm the included keys or tools and the exact matching flange before choosing replacement components.
Select the full color combination. On multi-part designs, the flange, cap, ring, lever, or knob may have separate color selections. Product photos may show representative finishes. Confirm custom color requests with Ducshop before purchase.
Follow the installation instructions. Use the specified seals and hardware, preserve the required vent and drain paths, and check that the cap closes securely and seals correctly.
