Fuel Pumps & Accessories Buying Guide ▾
Confirm the fault before replacing parts. Starting or running problems can have several causes. Have fuel pressure, electrical supply, and the relevant service checks assessed before selecting a replacement pump.
Match the fuel system. Check in-tank or external mounting, pump dimensions, operating specifications, electrical terminals, inlet and outlet connections, and model-year fitment. Similar-looking pumps are not automatically interchangeable.
Check the complete installation. Compare the listed kit contents with your motorcycle’s requirements. Filters, strainers, seals, hoses, clamps, adapters, and mounting components vary by product. Components used inside the tank must be suitable for submerged fuel service; follow the applicable service manual.
Plan safe installation. Work on a cool motorcycle in a well-ventilated area away from ignition sources. Follow the manufacturer’s pressure-relief and electrical isolation procedures, and have the completed system checked for leaks before use. Professional installation is recommended.
