Triple Clamps Buying Guide ▾
Choose the correct component. An upper clamp, lower clamp, steering tube, bearing kit, and complete assembly are different products. Read the selected option and included-parts list; a photo of a complete assembly does not mean every pictured component is supplied.
Check fork and stem dimensions. Verify the actual upper and lower fork-clamp diameters, steering stem, bearing sizes, and exact motorcycle model and year. Base, S, R, SP, and different model generations may use different forks. A shared diameter alone does not establish compatibility.
Match offset components. Adjustable systems require the manufacturer's compatible upper clamp, lower clamp, steering stem, and inserts. An offset insert is not a complete clamp kit. Confirm the supplied offset and the effect of any geometry change with a qualified installer.
Confirm the complete installation. Check steering stops, steering lock, headlight and instrument mounting, steering damper, handlebar or clip-on clearance, cables, hoses, and required fasteners. Some conversions need additional parts or lose the original steering-lock or damper mounting function. Read all listing-specific restrictions before ordering.
Review finish and condition. Choose the exact finish and, for numbered editions, the listed plate number. Group and installed photos may be representative. Read any display-condition disclosure and request condition details if needed.
