Rizoma Stealth vs. Stealth Max: What to Compare Before Buying

Compare the exact part numbers, not just the family names.

The starting point

Stealth and Stealth Max should be compared by their specific motorcycle application, mount, documentation and view from the riding position. Do not assume a Max version fits an original Stealth base or shares its kit contents.

Confirm the correct application first

Ducshop’s mirror range includes different naked-bike and sportbike applications. The motorcycle model, year and mounting style determine the relevant candidates. Check each exact Rizoma SKU and its compatible applications. A photo of another motorcycle or another generation is not proof of fitment.

Read certification claims at product level

Rizoma’s documentation distinguishes products: its Stealth BSS012 page states that product is not certified compliant, while Stealth Max pages provide different product-specific information. Do not extend a family-wide road-legal claim to every SKU or every U.S. application. Review the exact documentation and applicable requirements before choosing for street use.

Compare complete mounting packages

Check whether each candidate includes its mounting kit or requires separate adapters. Rizoma’s BSS243 Stealth Max page, for example, describes an included installation package; that does not establish the contents of every other Max product. Confirm left/right supply and whether damaged glass or other service parts are available for the exact version.

Keep visibility and lighting in the decision

Choose a usable rearward view in your normal riding posture, not simply the smallest visual profile. If original mirrors contain turn signals, plan compatible replacement signals and their mounting/wiring kits. Keep any folded or alternate mirror position within the intended use described by the manufacturer; appearance alone is not an operating guide.
